 Conference Chair Biography: Renee Bomchill Deloitte & Touche LLP


Renee has 16 years of experience in public accounting and has worked extensively throughout the Americas, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, providing advice and assistance to multinational companies as to the appropriate application of IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and SEC regulations. Recently, she has served several American companies with respect to their conversions to IFRS, including Coty, IBM, Ingersoll Rand, and a Fortune 50 pharmaceutical and medical devices company. Her IFRS experience includes leading multi-functional teams through IFRS assessments and conversions; helping companies establish a global IFRS vision and strategy; formulating project teams in countries around the world to provide IFRS support; creating a process to convert from U.S. GAAP to IFRS; and providing advice on IFRS accounting policy choices, first-time adoption alternatives, and technical issues. Renee is also a frequent speaker and trainer on IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and SEC reporting. She is a CPA in the states of New York and Texas, and a member of the AICPA and New York State Society of CPAs.
